Irvine Valley College Scholarship Awards Ceremony

Irvine Valley College held its annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony to recognize the academic accomplishments of 291 students.  The ceremony was attended by students, faculty, scholarship donors, and family and friends of the recipients.

This year, Irvine Valley College awarded scholarships totaling more than $137,000.  The recipients were 60% female and 40% male.  Their average age was 26.  And, their average GPA was 3.66 - with many of them having a 4.0 GPA.  In total, more than $200,000 in scholarships will be awarded during the 2008-2009 academic year.
