The 11th Annual Irvine Valley College Foundation Golf Tournament raised nearly $50,000. AT&T was the title sponsor of the tournament, and the Honorary Tournament Chairman was Wing Lam, founder of Wahoo's Fish Taco.
Each golfer received a pair of Oakley sunglasses and a FIDRA golf shirt. Raffle prizes included a $500 Schwinn beach cruiser, a surfboard from Quiksilver, two sets of Cleveland golf clubs, a $500 golf vacation at Barona Valley Ranch Resort, and many other fabulous prizes. Hole-in-one prizes included a chance to win a golf trip for two to Scotland, and Bauer Jaguar and Land Rover Newport Beach donated three really nifty closest-to-the-pin prizes – the use of a Jaguar or Land Rover for a weekend.
Proceeds will benefit student scholarships and golf programs at Irvine Valley College.
