Sean Joyce was appointed Irvine’s fourth city manager in January, 2006.  After graduating from Irvine High School, Sean attended Irvine Valley College.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the Cal State Fullerton, as well as a master’s in public administration degree.

Cecilia Goodman is the incoming chairman of the Irvine Valley College Foundation, and she is past president and board member of Charter 100, a philanthropic women’s community organization that has donated more than $100,000 to low-income, single-parent students at the college.

Wing Lam, founder of Wahoo’s Fish Taco, was the keynote speaker at the college’s graduation ceremony last year. He served as honorary tournament chairman of the Foundation’s 11th annual golf tournament, which raised nearly $50,000 for student scholarships and golf programs.

Carol Tagayun is past chairman of the Irvine Valley College Foundation and has played a key role in the Foundation’s fundraising success.  She is the external affairs area manager for AT&T, the leading worldwide provider of telecommunications, and she recently presented a $10,000 check from AT&T to Irvine Valley College.

Special thanks to our sponsors for their generous support.
