IVC Master Chorale: Remembering Robert Shaw
Fri., September 30, 2016 • 7:30 pm The Chorale presents a program celebrat- ing the centennial of the great American conductor Robert Shaw. Robert Shaw left an indelible impression on the American choral scene through his work as conductor, arranger, and mentor. Our program features arrangements by the team of Robert Shaw and Alice Parker, as well as movements from major works closely identified with the maestro.

IVC Choral Endowment Benefit Concert: Magnificat
Thu., December 8, 2016 • 7:30 pm Norwegian composer Kim André Arnesen is a rising star in the world of choral music. We present his ethereal setting of Magnificat for choir, strings, and organ. This work was commis- sioned by the Nidaros Cathedral Girls’ Choir in 2010. The Chorale performs the SATB version of this work.
