APC codes will only be given once school starts and only if there are spaces available.
You need to add your name to the “Priority Add List.” The first day of school, I will drop the students who do not show up and did not notify me of their absence in advance. I will then add those in the “Priority Add List” by giving the student(s) an APC code. Go online and add your name to this list; I can't do it for a student. Keep in mind, too, that the computer does not automatically add students from this list if a space becomes available. I suggest that you still periodically check the class availability in case a space becomes available when a student drops the course.
Go through the process of "registering" for this course (although it says "full"). At some point in that process, a prompt will come up in the screen that says the class is "full" and "would you like to add your name to the priority add list?" You will then click "yes" and your name will be added.

The computer system at IVC only recognizes the prerequisites taken at IVC and does not know that you've completed it elsewhere. Please visit the Matriculation and Assessment Office in SSC 250 and bring your transcript showing that you’ve completed college level Spanish 3 (second year, first semester Spanish course). Make sure you also bring your IVC student ID. The personnel in this office will enter the computer system and enable you to enroll for Spanish 4.
