Enrolling in Classes

Emeritus Institute students enjoy streamlined registration.

Students who have obtained a registration permit may register online or by telephone on their appointment date, or they may register with their instructor during the first class meeting, provided that space is still available.

Students who have not received a permit may complete the Emeritus application (available at the Emeritus Institute Office or online here) or the IVC application for admission (available in the class schedule or the IVC Office of Admissions and Records).

Pre-registration is encouraged for all classes as space is limited in most offerings. Students can bring the completed and signed admission form to class and register with their instructor during the first class meeting, provided space is available. Call (949) 451-5382 for more information.
