Special Instructions for Online Math Classes

Math classes are supported by Addison-Wesley's Technical Support.  Please call 1-800-677-6337 (8 am-5 pm CST Monday-Friday) to get more information about requirements.

You will need to buy a CourseCompass supported book to access your DE math class.  You can download your plug-ins ahead of time before the first class meeting by going to http://MyMathLab.com

To access your class online, you will need your student access code that looks something like this: MMLST-TAROK-THOLE-PICON-SHRIL-PRAWN (example).  To find your student access code, buy your class textbook from the bookstore, look inside the front cover of your textbook or inside the MyMathLab Starter Kit.  Do not reveal your access code if you are not sure you want to take the class.  Once you reveal the access code, your book may not be returned.  Your instructor will give you your course ID when you attend the first class meeting.  You will need to install the following plug-ins:

  • Acrobat Reader
  • Macromedia FlashPlayer
  • Shockwave Player
  • InterAct Math Plug-in
  • TestGen Plug-in
  • RealPlayer Plug-in
  • PowerPoint Player

This class requires the purchase of an online textbook/software package in lieu of a book.  See class syllabus for purchase information.
