Center opens. Children arrive. Inside play. Opening Classroom
changes each month. |
| 8:30 |
Outside and Inside choice time. Learning Centers are open
throughout the day. Children have the opportunity to explore
a variety of environments, which change depending on interest
of children. Morning activities may include: building, climbing,
balls, bikes, books, crayons, sensory table, bubbles, painting
and more! |
| 9:30 |
Snack Time. Children wash hands, come inside and go into their
own classrooms for a snack. |
| 9:45-10am |
Children divide up into their small groups. One group stays
inside and one group goes outside.
Inside choices include:
- Learning Centers - Art Center (a variety of creative art
materials), Block Center (a variety of building materials),
Housekeeping Center (dramatic play), Manipulative Center
(fine motor and cognitive activities), Science Center (pets
and much more), and Math center. Group time includes: stories,
songs, and music and movement activities.
Outside choices include:
- Large muscle activities - bikes, balls, sand and water
play, running, and climbing.
- Messy sensory activities - painting, sensory table with
a variety of materials, bubbles, and much more..

Groups switch. Children who are outside come inside and children
who are inside go outside. |

Children begin lunch. |

Book time on beds - Story tapes or relaxing music - rest time. |

As children awaken they put their bed and blanket away, put
on their shoes, go potty, wash hands and have snack.
Choices include: All Learning Centers, art or other sensory
activities |

Group Time may be offered to those interested. Prepare to
go outside. |

Outside/Inside Choice Time. 1 yard and 1 classroom opened.
Yard and classroom changes from week to week so children have
the opportunity to explore a variety of environments. Learning
centers opened indoors and outdoors. Art activity set up. |
| 5:30 |
Children come inside for group time and carpet activities.
Light snack offered. |
| 6:00 |
Center closes. |
