The Irvine Valley women's volleyball team improved its record to 3-0 on the young season with an impressive straight-game win (30-24, 30-23, 30-26) victory at College of the Canyons.
Playing without freshman starting middle blocker Jillyan Mina, the Lasers still dominated.
They got 13 kills from sophomore outside hitter Chelsea Pavlik. Freshmen Mari Guadagnini and Camryn Torromeo each added five kills.
Freshman libero Amanda Donaldson led the way with 13 digs and sophomore setter Kelly Keating dished out 28 assists to go along with nine digs and three aces.
The Lasers play at home next Wednesday against Citrus in another non-conference match at 5 p.m.
Citrus won its home opener last week to improve its record to 1-1 on the season.
