Women's golf goes 1-2 at Oak Creek

The Irvine Valley women's golf team's score of 344 continued its trend of beating Santa Ana and being bested by Santiago Canyon and Saddleback in an Orange Empire Conference match at Oak Creek on Wednesday.
At midpoint in the season, Irvine Valley has a firm hold on third place in the conference standings.
Santiago Canyon and Saddleback are in a battle for first place in conference.
Courtney Solomonson continued to the the best player in the conference. She led all scorers on Wednesday with a score of 77 at Oak Creek.
Santiago Canyon picked up three wins with its team score of 325.
Saddleback gained two wins and one loss with a team score of 338. Santa Ana took three losses with a score of 362.
Irvine Valley's top scorers was Courtney Schroeder and Val Watts at 84. Also for IVC, Ashley Silver shot 88, Katie Parks came in at 88 and Alex Calvillo finished at 92.
