High School: Played four years on varsity at Esperanza…Started and was named second team all-league her junior and first team all-league as a senior…Averaged 6.2 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.7 steals as a junior and 5.5 points and 7.3 rebounds as a senior…Helped Esperanza to a 24-5 mark, a 10-0 record in the Sunset League and a league title her junior season and a 17-11 record overall and an 8-2 mark in league as a senior…Made the game-winning basket her junior season to help lead Esperanza to the league title. Personal: Would like to attend Sonoma State, Long Beach State or San Diego State and study in Nursing when she is done at IVC...Says her favorite athlete is Magic Johnson and her favorite subject is U.S. History...The people she most admires are here uncle Daniel and cousin Donte...Her goals for the season are to be healthy and help IVC win the conference title...Daughter of Donya and Jay Hughes.
