Women's basketball team to add Hannah Girdley

Irvine Valley women's basketball coach Julie Hanks has announced that Aliso Niguel senior Hannah Girdley has committed to joining the Laser program in the fall.
Girdley, a 5-9 forward, led the Aliso Niguel High girls team in scoring this past season. She averaged 13.6 points per game and shot 42 percent from the field and 37 percent from beyond the three-point line.
Girdley scored in double figures in 22 of Aliso Niguel's games. She also averaged 6.4 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.1 assists per game.
Girdley joins an incoming freshmen class which includes 5-10 forward Tyne McClure from Vista High, 5-6 combo guard Alexis Anaya from Vista High, 5-5 shooting guard Ashley Fajardo from Mission Viejo High and 5-2 point guard Lauryn Santos from Aliso Niguel High.
