Friday, Dec. 8 - Second Day Results

Merced 55 - Compton 33 (consolation game)
Merced got 16 points and six assists from Pamiela Bounkhoune in the win.

Irvine Valley 68 - Grossmont 55 (consolation game)
Irvine Valley had four players score in double figures, led by Danyelle Swenson with 17 points. She also added four assists. Emily Luckeroth had 15 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals, Katie Ryan finished with 13 points and three assists and kayla Acromite contributed 12 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks for the Lasers. Grossmont was paced by Megan Ehmke's 13 points and 13 rebounds.

San Diego Mesa 64 - Golden West 58 (championship semifinal)
Despite having just five players for the game, Golden West hung with San Diego Mesa for most of the way. San Diego Mesa was led by Joy Edwards, who had 15 points, 10 rebounds and four steals. Kelsey Ash added 13 points, Kaycee Chad 10 points and Melissa Mendoza chipped in with nine points and 10 rebounds for San Diego Mesa. Golden West go 17 points each from Siutiti Takai and Jessica Jones in the defeat. Takai also had 14 rebounds.

Chaffey 70 - College of the Desert 32 (championship semifinal)
Chaffey jumped out to a 43-13 lead at halftime and never looked back. The Panthers, who are ranked 12th in Southern California, were led by Christina Warren. She finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds (10 offensive). Tierney Arnold added 14 points and nine rebounds, Lillie Parks had 12 points and six rebounds and Brittney Harrell finished with 11 points. Bianca Barragan had eight points for College of the Desert.
