Ventura 77 – Santa Monica 72
Ventura had nine players scoring at least six points. Mike Diacos led the way off the bench with 11 points and Will Faiivae added 10 points and 11 rebounds. Ventura had 21 assists on its 29 field goals and shot 47.5 percent for the game (29 of 61).
Arnette Hollis had 28 points and seven rebounds and Lawrance Weatherall and Eric Bell each chipped in 10 points for Santa Monica. Bell also finished with six assists.

Irvine Valley 56 – Cuyamaca 49
Irvine Valley committed a season-low nine turnovers in the victory. Jeff Ledbetter and Kwame Alexander each scored 11 points. Alexander also had nine rebounds and two blocks. Ledbetter had four assists and two blocks. Matt Ballard chipped in 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Lasers.
Cuyamaca, which also had just nine turnovers in the contest, is led by Kenny Bradford with 14 points and Brandon Fountain with 13 points and six rebounds.
Championship game
Long Beach City 57 – Cerritos 54
The Vikings out-scored Cerritos, 36-30, in the second half to come back for the win. With the game tied, 54-54, with 4.7 seconds left, Randolph White sank two free throws for Long Beach City. Then Kenneth Hurd stole a Cerritos pass to wrap up the win for the Vikings. Long Beach City was led by tournament most valuable player Lane Whitney, who had 18 points and five rebounds. Whitney made a key three-pointer with 44 seconds left to give Long Beach City a 54-51 lead. White finished with 13 points, six rebounds and four assists and Hurd had seven points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals for Long Beach City. The Vikings struggled with turnovers, committing 23 in the game, but only had one in the final five minutes.
Cerritos, which led most of the game, got a big effort from Marcellus Jackson, who had 12 points and 15 rebounds, including nine on the offensive end. Gregory Preer added 11 points and six rebounds, Lee Arnold had seven points and five assists and Van Girard chipped in six points and 10 rebounds. Cerritos finished with 23 offensive rebounds in the game, but shot just 37.1 percent from the field overall.
