The Irvine Valley women’s badminton team recorded two more victories last week.

The Lasers shut out both Los Angeles City College and Compton College, 21-0, to improve its record to 8-0 on the season.

Irvine Valley has won six of its eight matches this season by the score of 21-0.

Against Compton last Friday at home, Hanna Chao and Ruby Hui swept at No. 1 and No. 2 singles for the Lasers.

Hui gave up just two points total in her two matches.

Annie Wong and Christene Ly also won singles matches for Irvine Valley.

Brita Kjalstrom and Wong teamed up to win, 15-0, 15-2, at No. 1 doubles.

Chao and Ly won, 15-9, 15-2, at No. 2 doubles.
