The Irvine Valley women’s badminton team ran its record to a perfect 12-0 on the season with a pair of wins last week.

The Lasers defeated Los Angeles City, 21-0, last Wednesday at home and beat Grossmont, 20-1, on the road last Friday.

Rulan Yeh, Rulien Yeh, Brita Kjalstrom, Jenna Chiu, Midori Tanaka and Kitty Yee-Wong each swept singles matches against Los Angeles City.

Rulan Yeh, Rulien Yeh, Chiu, Grace Leung and Yee-Wong swept singles contests against Grossmont. Tanaka took one of two matches for the Lasers.
