The Irvine Valley College women"s badminton team improved its record to 10-0 overall with a 15-6 win over El Camino last week.

It was the Lasers' toughest match of the year thus far. Lili Zhou, Lisa Apel and Suzanne Wong paced the Lasers.

Irvine Valley had swept through the competition in its opening nine matches, winning all nine contests by scores of 21-0.

The defeat was El Camino's first of the year. Irvine Valley plays Los Angeles City and East Los Angeles this week.
