Annual Juried Student Show at the IVC Art Gallery
April 9 - May 10th, 2007
Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony April 12, 6-8pm
Eligibility: ALL MEDIA are welcome and encouraged to enter.
Students may submit a total of our entries. Work must have been
completed between Summer 2006 and Spring 2007, while enrolled in art
classes at IVC. Original work only, no copies of masters will be
accepted.
Presentation: all works on paper must be mated and/or framed and
ready to hang (all hanging hardware attached.) Work on canvas
does not need to be framed, but must be wired for hanging and edges
should be neat with no visible staples. Work on canvas board must
be framed. No wet paintings will be accepted.
Entry procedure: for each entry fill out the 2-part
identification label. Follow instructions on each section.
Print of type neatly. Students may submit up to four entries from
any one class or combination of classes. The
Entry Form is available online here (pdf) or at the gallery. Entry fee per submission is $5.00.
Dates for submission of art to IVC Gallery (B112):
Wednesday March 21, 12-6pm
Thursday March 22, 12-6pm
Notification of acceptance: March 26 (list will be posted on gallery door.)
Pick up of unaccepted work: Wednesday March 28, 12-6 pm
Pick of all accepted work: Friday May 11, 12-6pm
IVC Gallery is not responsible for work not picked up.
