Associated Geology Students

"The Geology Club"

The Associated Geology Students of Irvine Valley College are dedicated to the melding of various disciplines with a common goal of investigating the EARTH. The Geology Club participates in fund-raisers for various causes. The Geology Club is involved in "Adopt-a-Trail" to assist the County of Orange in maintaining the few hiking trails that exist in Orange County. Field trips and social gatherings are an important component to the club as well. The Geology Club sponsors speakers on career planning and geological topics of general interest. Students learn of schohttps://dev.ivc.edu/ags/default.aspxlarship opportunities in geology and other disciplines. The Club Advisors in conjunction with the Department of Geological Sciences, are working toward raising $5,000 for a perpetual scholarship fund.  Check out our page dedicated to Community College geology students.
