A Few Comments from IVC's 2005 Graduate Follow-up Survey

• I appreciate IVC very much. This is one of the best schools in OC. You can feel comfortable here, it is culturally diverse, teachers and staff and other students are all great. Support services like DSPS, EOPS, and Financial Aid are all helpful.

• I appreciated that IVC provided most of the classes I needed as night classes. I work full time and would not have been able to get my AA otherwise. I would like to mention the outstanding efforts of your Professors. Prof. Pearlstein is the best Math teacher I've ever had. As juvenile as it sounds- he helped me make it through my most hated subject. Thanks!

• Irvine Valley College has helped me very well in succeeding as an international student. I have no comments as they have done great in improving their courses.

• The administration of justice program was absolutely amazing. Keep up the support to get well equipped men and women on the force.

• My experience was great and compared to the colleges here in Virginia, IVC was far superior. The level of quality in facilities and courses is unmatched, IVC is superior. The amount, frequency and availability of courses are outstanding.

• The counselors did an excellent job with our registration needs for our educational and major goals by helping us choose the required courses we as students needed.

• Everything I experienced at IVC was positive and excellent. I greatly enjoyed attending and have had some excellent teachers (F.Marmolejo, R. Welch, K. Meyer).

• All my teachers were good at giving personal attention; they all seemed to know their subjects well.

• I had a very good experience in IVC, as a second language student enrolling in a school after a long period of time. IVC was very supportive and encouraging to me. I'm hoping to continue my education.

• The distance learning courses (online) really helped me finish quicker than having to attend every-day class. I would like to see more courses go online.

• Great school! More technology-advanced than Golden West College!

• I attended IVC for three years and found it to be a great environment with mostly caring teachers. I would recommend it to others and believe it is a good school.

• The cisco local area network certificate was an excellent program. Dave Shinnick is one of the best instructors I've had the pleasure of learning from.
