PRESIDENT
facilitate chapter meetings & prepare meeting agendas
organize & appoint project committees
prepare chapter member recognition gifts
develop goals for the chapter with the executive team & advisors
oversee chapter projects
oversee all award entry preparation & submissions
VICE PRESIDENT OF SERVICE
report the chapter to Headquarters as a Chapter or Service
oversee & develop activities & projects that promote volunteerism & community service using the International Service Program: "Operation Green: Improving our Communities"
coordinate the preparation of the Service Hallmark Award entry
VICE PRESIDENT OF SCHOLARSHIP *
oversee & develop activities & projects that encompass the International Honors Study Topic: "Gold, Gods, & Glory: the Global Dynamics of Power"
coordinate the chapter's participation in the Honors Satellite Seminars
encourage academic excellence by offering a variety of assistance programs
promote various available scholarships to Phi Theta Kappans
coordinate the preparation of the Scholarship Hallmark Award entry
VICE PRESIDENT OF LEADERSHIP direct the chapter in the use of parliamentary procedure for meetings
oversee all leadership activities
coordinate the preparation of Leadership Hallmark Award entry
VICE PRESIDENT OF FELLOWSHIP*
encourage scholarly fellowship at all levels of the Society
implement strategies to increase membership
register the chapter as a participant in the Pinnacle Scholarship Award Program
coordinate the chapter's Enhance Membership Program
direct registration of new members
lead membership drives throughout academic semesters
answer all membership concerns from current & prospective members
keep track of points accumulated by members in Alpha Omega Mu Chapter Point System
submit new members & update existing members for transcript notation
DIRECTOR OF FUNDRAISING / TREASURER*
maintain the financial account for the chapter
keep a set of financial records
present the chapter's financial records at business meetings
file all financial records in the chapter's official files at the end of each academic term
facilitate and oversee fundraising projects
SECRETARY*
take and present minutes at each chapter meeting
keep records of all chapter activities
maintain a historical record of chapter events which may include photos, flyers, & descriptions of chapter events
PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER*
promote the chapter at all levels of the organization
write & submit articles to campus & community newspapers
take photographs at al chapter events
AMBASSADOR*
attend official functions as representative of chapter
promote the chapter at all levels of the organization
serve as liaison between members & officers
maintain by-laws & make suggestions for changes as necessary
