Thanks to four straight victories, the Irvine Valley women's volleyball team jumped five spots in the latest state poll. 

Irvine Valley moved from 18th to 13th. It now also ranks 10th in Southern California.

Four teams from the Orange Empire Conference are in the top 13 of the state poll with Golden West the highest at No. 6. Orange Coast is ninth and Fullerton, which IVC swept earlier this season, is 12th. 

Irvine Valley, which has a record of 9-3 overall, plays a conference match at Santa Ana on Wednesday and then hosts Golden West Friday at 6 p.m.
