Women's volleyball team slips to 14th in latest state poll

After suffering its first loss of the 2011 season in four games last Friday at Moorpark, the Irvine Valely women's volleyball team dropped from fifth to 14th in the latest state poll, which was released on Tuesday.

Irvine Valley has a record of 3-1 overall and hosts San Diego Mesa in its final non-conference match of the season Wednesday night at home at 5 p.m.

IVC opens OEC play Friday at home against Santa Ana at 6 p.m.
