The Irvine Valley women's golf team improved its record to 6-0 in Orange Empire Conference play with another victory at Cottonwood in El Cajon.
The Lasers, who won a five-team conference match at Cottonwood on Monday, returned to the golf course on Wednesday and beat host Cuyamaca.
IVC finished with a score of 300, which was five strokes better than its winning score on Monday.
Cuyamaca finished at 387.
The Lasers had all four of their scoring players shoot in the 70's. Freshman Halle Young was the medalist in a match for the first time this season. She shot a 1 over par score of 73.
Sophomore all-conference players Chelsea Kasprowicz and Foya Lazare each shot 75 and freshman Sally Kim rounded out the scoring with a total of 77. Sophomore Taylor Moore (80) and freshman Toni Honnes (88) had the throwout scores for Irvine Valley.
On Monday, Kim's 1 over par score of 73 and Lazare's score of 74 led the Irvine Valley to victories over Saddleback, Fullerton, Cuyamaca and Santa Ana in the first five-team conference match of the season.
It was the fifth straight match that Kim had the low score for the Lasers.
Kasprowicz's 78 and Young's 80 contributed to Irvine Valley's score of 305.
"I am pleased with the team effort and conference leading results," Coach Ben Burnett said. "Especially since we had never played the Cottonwood course before."
